SCALE AEROBATICS – A CHAIRMAN’S PASSION

I became attracted to the whole ethos and structure of Scale aerobatics organised by the “International Miniature Aerobatics Club” some years ago and for the past three years I have competed in a full season’s tour with IMAC UK in the Sportsman’s Class.

For the 2009 season I will fly in the Intermediate class.

I joined the Committee of IMAC UK in December 2008 as Public Relations Officer and, with the aim of raising awareness of IMAC activities, I have written short articles for publication in the BMFA News magazine.

Barry Chamberlain, our Webmaster of the Banbury MFC site offered to put these articles up on our web site and I am grateful for the opportunity because I think they explain some of the reasons for my interest in this branch of aeromodelling.
